
Dr. Perrotta is a highly qualified dentist with a strong academic foundation, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. John's University and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Connecticut. She further refined her skills through a General Practice Residency at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital. She is the owner, along with her husband, Dr. SanGiacomo, of Bethel Gentle Dental for 31 years and Candlewood Gentle Dental for 8 years.
A dedicated member of the dental community, Dr. Perrotta actively participates in the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and Greater Danbury Dental Society, where she currently serves as President. Committed to providing the most advanced and comfortable care, she consistently engages in extensive continuing education, encompassing areas such as rotary endodontics, CEREC one-visit crowns, nutrition, CPR, and laser applications for whitening, oral lesion treatment, and minimally invasive periodontics.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Perrotta is an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, a lecturer at New Milford Hospital, and the local school dentist. She is also a passionate community advocate, sponsoring local events and spearheading initiatives like "Operation Sweet Tooth" in collaboration with NJROTC.
When not engaged in her professional endeavors, Dr. Perrotta enjoys spending quality time with her family, pursuing hobbies like skiing, traveling, swimming, and cooking.
